Diamond Head Lighthouse
Honolulu, South Shore

Located on a steep cliff on the
flank of Diamond Head crater, the lighthouse is
one of Hawaii's oldest ocean navigation aids.
The tower is 55 feet high and the tower's light
can be seen almost 18 miles away and is one of
the best-known beacon lights in the Pacific.
Entry into the building has been restricted
indefinitely. The Diamond Head Lighthouse is on
the National Register of Historic Places in
1980.
